Are your venues are available for events at any time?

On Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, you can choose any five (5) hour time period.

Saturday afternoon events are from 12 PM - 5 PM. Saturday evenings events are from 7 PM - midnight.

On holiday weekends such as Memorial Day, Labor Day and Columbus Day, Sunday is treated like a Saturday. This also holds true for July 4th, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve.

If you’d like to schedule a longer event—or a special time—we’d be happy to accommodate you, if possible, but surcharges may apply. Approval must be in writing from The Saphire Event Group.

Can I have my ceremony on-site?

Saphire Estate and The Villa each have beautiful ceremony locations.

Saphire Estate offers a private courtyard and custom-designed pergola that is the perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony, while the ballroom can be set up to accommodate a romantic, indoor ceremony.

Both ballrooms at The Villa are ideal for ceremonies. In the Madera Ballroom, you can have a romantic fireside ceremony, while the Grand Ballroom offers magnificent views of the surrounding landscape. For outdoor ceremonies, there is a picturesque gazebo, overlooking the Ridder Country Club’s perfectly manicured greens.

The fee for an on-site ceremony is $1,000.

Can we sample your food beforehand?

We know that food is an important element of any event. That’s why we offer two different options to taste our cuisine. Every season, we sponsor a special “group” tasting event at one of our venues. In addition to specialty linens, ice sculptures, and floral arrangements, you’ll enjoy dazzling displays of our cuisine and have the opportunity to sample a wide range of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and more.

Of course, if you wish to sample specific dishes, or are requesting specialty cuisine for your menu, we’d be happy to tailor a private tasting session especially for you.

Do your venues offer special places for photo opportunities?

Both venues offer a wide range of locations to capture the magic of your special day. From fireplaces and fountains, lush landscapes and sweeping vistas, to stunning architecture and elegant appointments, you’ll find many ways to spark your imagination and create memories you’ll treasure forever.

Can I get ready on-site?

Every ballroom has its own beautifully appointed and very private bridal suite. There you can get ready in a relaxed setting with your friends and family, enjoy a glass of Champagne, and a bite to eat, take pre-event pictures, or just sit down and relax after your ceremony.

Is it possible to have real candlelight?

You can have the candlelit wedding of your dreams! We offer virtually any enclosed candlelight option you can envision. From elegant votives on the tables, to dozens of candles of every size in every windowsill, tabletop, and bar, to everything in-between, we can assist you in whatever creation you desire.

Do you offer transportation?

While we do not provide transportation, we can assist in arranging everything from limousines to party buses to help you and your guests go to and from hotels and ceremony locations.

What is an event minimum?

An event minimum is the agreed upon amount you will pay for food and beverage for your event. The minimum amount is based on the demand for a specific date, time, and venue, and will be agreed upon before your reservation is finalized. If you are on a budget, we will be happy to offer a range of options to accommodate you. Should your actual charges be less than your established event minimum, the difference will be billed to you as a room charge.
