Our Wedding Portfolio

The fireplaces were just perfect for a winter wedding

Tristan and I were in the same fourth grade class and continued through school together until I moved towns before high school.  In 2008 we ran into each other while out with friends in Boston.  We got to chatting, Tristan asked me to dinner, and have been together ever since.

We were at home decorating our Christmas tree and when complete we stepped back to admire our work.  Tristan asked if I would be around next year to do this again, and while I spurted out some wise comment, Tristan dropped to his knee and asked me to marry him.  I was in shock and asked him if he was serious; that's when he pulled out the ring.  I was so surprised (and happy) that I couldn’t even get the word "yes" out - poor Tristan!  I finally nodded my head, sat down, and Tristan put the ring on my finger.

A girlfriend of mine had mentioned that she would like to get married at The Villa when the time comes for her.  I looked at the pictures online, scheduled a tour for Tristan, my Mom and I to take a look, and that was it.  I loved the Madera Ballroom!  The dark hardwood floors, the wooden beams across the ceilings, and then the fireplaces

I enjoyed every minute of that day;  I'm not sure I can pick out one favorite part.  Everything from time in the bridal suite, to our day of coordinator Lauren giving my Dad and I words of wisdom to hold back the tears while walking down the aisle, to seeing Tristan waiting for me at the end of the aisle - it was perfect!  The food, the music, my friends and family dancing the night away...
